Common questions.
Which flooring system fits my property?
It depends on the condition of your concrete, how the space is used, the look you want, maintenance expectations, and budget. We evaluate the slab and talk through your priorities before recommending a system.
Can you work with existing concrete?
In many cases, yes. Most of our systems are installed over existing slabs. Cracks, moisture, contamination, and old coatings need to be assessed, and some conditions may require repair or removal first.
Why is surface preparation important?
A coating or finish depends on a sound, clean, properly profiled surface. Skipping preparation is a common reason floors peel or fail, so we treat it as a core part of every project.
Do you handle residential and commercial projects?
Yes. Our focus includes commercial, industrial, and government work, and we also serve homeowners with garages, patios, workshops, and interior concrete.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in San Antonio and serve the surrounding communities, as well as Austin, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and McAllen. Contact us about your project location.
What affects project scheduling?
Scope, slab condition, the system selected, cure requirements, site access, weather for exterior work, and coordination with other trades. We'll discuss a realistic timeline after evaluating the project.
How should the finished floor be maintained?
Maintenance depends on the system. Most floors benefit from regular sweeping or dust mopping and appropriate neutral cleaners. We provide guidance for the system installed.
What warranties may apply?
A one-year workmanship or coating warranty may apply, subject to written project terms. Eligible RetroPlate polished concrete systems may include manufacturer-backed coverage up to 20 years, subject to manufacturer requirements and approval. Other manufacturer-specific product warranties apply where applicable.
How do I request an estimate?
Use the estimate form or call us. Share your location, the type of space, and the flooring you have in mind, and we'll follow up to discuss next steps.
Can I ask about a service that is not listed?
Yes. Choose "Other / Not sure" on the estimate form and tell us what you need. We'll let you know whether it's something we can help with.
